Hey, I'm TempTats (temporary_tats for long, or Tats for even shorter)! I'm a digital artist from the United States with a love for character illustration who dabbles in comics from time to time.Check out my work below, and if you'd like to commission me for a piece of your own, send me a message to my e-mail or through any of my provided social medias!

Commissions
A deposit of at least 50% is required upfront following the acceptance of your commission. Once I've received your deposit, I'll begin working on your commission, sending you occasional updates and providing you opportunities to request changes at pivotal moments where applicable: following the initial rough sketch(es), following the final polished sketch, following the completion of the flats, and following the completion of the render.Once the work is completed, I will send you a watermarked, low-quality version as proof of completion and will expect the remaining commission balance to be paid. Once I've received the final payment, I will send you the high-quality, non-watermarked version of your piece to use according to my Terms of Service.I accept payment through Ko-fi or PayPal.All prices listed below are a general baseline to provide you with an estimate for your piece. Prices are subject to change depending on the details/complexity of the commission.

Terms of Service
PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTINUING WITH YOUR COMMISSION!RIGHT TO REFUSAL
I have the right to refuse any and all requests or commissions, for any reason, at any time.Should I refuse to undertake or complete your commission or request after receiving payment, you will receive a full refund regardless of my progress on your piece.PROJECT PROGRESS
Commissions are first come, first serve! You are free to request a commission by contacting me through any of my provided social media accounts or e-mail. If my commissions are open, I will typically respond within 24-48 hours with follow-up questions and may ask you to send me references. If my commissions are closed, I will respond at my earliest convenience and give you my best estimate on when I can get to your commission.Once I have all the information I need regarding your commission, I will either give you direct confirmation that I have accepted your commission or a response explaining why I will not accept your commission request. If I have denied your request, you are free to re-work it according to my terms, but I will not save your place if you choose to do so. If I have accepted your request, my work will begin once I have received the initial deposit of at least 50% of your total commission cost.Unlimited revisions are offered through the initial sketching phase. Once a sketch has been nailed down, I will offer chances at pivotal moments in the design process for you to offer your input and request revisions and/or additions. I reserve the right to increase the total cost of your commission should the project begin to require multiple revisions, additions, or remarkable changes once the final sketch has been approved.Delivery time varies by project size, complexity, and the number of other projects I have at the same time. In general, sketch commissions are finished in 7-10 business days and flats commissions are finished in 10-12 business days. Rendered commissions vary greatly by project, but for a base cost commission with no add-ons, a 14-20 business day delivery time is not uncommon. If you have a specific deadline or are in need of a rushed delivery time, let me know and I will see what I can do for you, but expect that the project cost may increase.REFUNDS
Refunds for commissions are accepted in full prior to the completion of the final sketch. Once the sketch is finalized, any requested refunds will be given as follows: (amount received of total commission cost) - (the price point of the current progress level) = (refund amount) and will be sent the piece as is. For example, if you've paid a 50% deposit for a commission of a rendered full body character with no add-ons and request a refund following the completion of the sketch, your refund would come out to this: $50 - $40 = $10, and you would be sent the high-quality, non-watermarked sketch.Should you wish for your piece to be finished at a later date, I will happily continue where I left off. I'll send you a new cost, subtracting whatever was paid previously from the total, and will work onwards once I've received your deposit. Attempting to have another artist finish my work is strictly prohibited, and should I discover you've done so, you will be billed the remaining balance of your initial commission and will be blacklisted from receiving any further art from me.Refunds requested upon commission completion will not be accepted. You are free to refuse to send the remaining balance, but you will not receive your piece.Refunds are not accepted for Ko-fi Requests except for in the case of a refusal.USAGE RIGHTS FOR COMMISSIONED ARTWORK
Reselling of the artwork in any form is strictly prohibited. Exclusive rights to the artwork for commercial or marketing purposes are not included in the base price of the artwork. At base price, you are allowed to:
- Save art as a personal wallpaper, profile picture or banner for a non-commercial social media account, widget art, etc.

About
I've loved drawing for just about as long as I could remember, deciding I'd wanted to go to art school and become a professional illustrator in 7th grade and sticking with that dream through most of high school. Then, COVID hit and things just weren't the same.Family troubles and a lack of support pushed art to the back burner, until one day I realized that I couldn't dredge up an ounce of passion for it the same way I had before. I'd given up and shifted to other pursuits instead: audio. It was years before I really picked up my drawing tablet again, barely even sketching aside from in the margins of my class notes. I'd drawn a couple things, even posted them, but still felt mostly detached from making art.Until 2024, when I rediscovered an old love of mine: a little show called RWBY. I tore through all 10 current seasons, and found a deeply-hidden passion reignited.
It all started here, with this little drawing of one Yang Xiao Long.I just wanted to draw fanart of one of my favorite characters from my favorite show. And then, I wanted to draw another piece. And then another. And then some more. Until one day, I realized I had made friends, I grew a little audience, and I started to feel whole again. It might be a little melodramatic to say fanart sort of saved my life, but who doesn't love a little melodrama now and then?

And now, here I am, making art a permanent fixture in my life like it should've been all along! RWBY's certainly remained a fixture in my art (hell, you've seen my portfolio by now, haven't you?) but its far from the only thing I've got passion for drawing these days. It'd mean the world to me if you decided to support me and this little journey I've been on - whether that's through a commission, a ko-fi request, or even just a follow on one of my socials. You, dear reader, are just as important in my story as anything else, so from the bottom of my heart - thank you.
